We recommend it, especially if you have kids, pets, or busy foot traffic. Here's why it's worth it: most carpet comes from the factory with a protective coating that breaks down over time and with each cleaning. Reapplying protectant after your cleaning restores that barrier, giving spills more time to be wiped up before they become permanent stains, and helping carpet fibers resist everyday dirt and soiling between cleanings. That means your carpet stays looking newer longer and can go longer between deep cleanings.
It's not a magic shield; it won't stop every stain or replace regular care, but paired with prompt cleanup of spills, it's one of the most cost-effective ways to protect what you've already invested in your carpet.

Item For most grout, yes, it's worth doing. Grout is porous, so once it's freshly cleaned, it's also at its most absorbent, meaning it's ready to soak up whatever spills or grime come next. Sealing right after cleaning creates a barrier that keeps moisture, dirt, and stains from working their way back in, so the grout stays brighter longer and is easier to keep clean between visits. It also helps guard against mold and mildew in wet areas like showers and kitchen floors.
A couple of honest caveats: sealant isn't permanent and wears down over time, so it's typically something you'd reapply at each cleaning to keep the protection active. And if your grout is epoxy-based, it may already resist moisture and staining on its own, in which case sealing isn't necessary, and we'll tell you that rather than sell you something you don't need.

Move small, light items and anything fragile or valuable. We generally clean around large items such as book shelves, sofas, beds, etc. With our cleaning tools we can get under tables, portions of beds and other furniture.
-
Yes, we’re happy to bring a vacuum upon request. We only do this when asked, since it adds time to the visit for both the vacuuming itself and the sanitizing we do beforehand to keep it pest free - so clients who don’t need it aren’t paying for either.

In most cases, yes. Results depend on how deep the stain has set and how long it's been there, but hot water extraction handles most pet accidents well. We'll be upfront if something is unlikely to come out completely.

Typically 2–8 hours with good airflow. If we do deep cleaning on pet spots, or in areas without much air circulation, it can take longer. On residential carpet we use hot water extraction, which pulls out most of the moisture during the cleaning itself, so dry times are faster than a lot of people expect.
-
Hard surfaces dry pretty quickly after cleaning. If we seal it after cleaning it is best to stay off of it for a couple of hours.

Yes. We use professional-grade solutions that are safe for homes with kids and pets. We use these products every day ourselves, so our own personal health and safety is important to us when choosing among the vast array of modern products to choose from.

Most residential cleanings 1 - 3 hours depending on the number of rooms and the amount of soiling on the flooring.
-
No, not with proper hot water extraction. The process rinses and extracts the cleaning solution as we go, so there's very little residue left behind to smell. Most customers notice a light, clean scent right after the job that fades within a few hours as the carpet or tile finishes drying, not a strong chemical smell that lingers.
If you're sensitive to fragrances, let us know beforehand and we can use a lower-scent or fragrance-free solution. We do offer deodorizers with a pleasant fragrance if you'd like your carpet or upholstery to have a light, pleasant scent that dissipates fairly quickly.
